Poster session

We invited young academic (under 35) and private attendees (companies less than 3 years old) to submit posters relating to their research findings in neuroscience research and technologies.

During the conference, the program schedule has included a period specifically dedicated to the presentation by the authors of 40 selected posters, 10 for each session : from 13h30 to 14h30.

The European Bioalpine Convention program included special sessions about different aspects of neuroscience, the scientific and medical community addressing topics such as:
Neuro imaging
Keywords : NMR, PET, contrast agents, molecular imaging and neuropharmacology
Value of -omics in neuroscience
Keywords : genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, bioinformatics, pharmacogenomics and biochips
Ageing and dementia
Keywords : cognition, neurodegeneration, movement disorders and dementia
New breakthroughs to therapies
Keywords : stem cells, gene therapy, brain stimulation and neurorepair

38 participants were presenting a poster at the congress after the selection by the Scientific Committee.

We offered 4 prizes (1 500€) to posters judged to be the best in terms of scientific content and presentation. Criteria for selection : quality and industrial related applications.

>> M.D Adriana Teodora Perles-Barbacaru, Functional and Metabolic Neuroimaging, UJF/INSERM U594, Grenoble France
Poster title: Cerebral blood volume fraction mapping in a C6-tumor model using RSST1-MRI with an intravascular contrast agent Gd-ACX

>> Miss Yuan XUE, Department of Neuroscience, Institute of Psychiatry, King's College London
Poster title: In vitro expression of human leukocyte antigens in response to TNF-a and IL-6 on conditionally immortalised human neural stem cells

>> Ph.D. Aubin MICHALON, Brain Research Institute, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) and University of Zurich, Switzerland
Poster title : Glycine-mediated modulation of NMDA receptor activity, a double genetic approach to investigate its impact on cognition and behaviour in mice

>> Ph.D. student Pasquale Emanuele SCOPELLITI, Department of Physics and Mathematics, University of Insubria, Italy
Poster title : Imaging of radiolabelled biological samples with silicon pixel sensors
