Short
1-3 days training courses from September through November
Debriefing Workshop on 4 December 2008, during
the European Bioalpine Convention 2008 in Geneva
Back in 2001, the SPS was amongst the first national Proteomics
Society to be created in Europe . Willing to remain innovative,
the SPS has created in 2006 the original and dynamic Applied
Proteomics Interactive Training Initiative.
The Applied Proteomics Interactive Training Initiative is an
event which integrates short applied on-site training courses
to be held in specialised laboratories spread throughout Switzerland
. The courses, intensive experimental training over a few days
in one specific topic of proteomics, are offered from September
through November 2008 in one of the numerous Swiss hosting laboratories.
All training participants and organisers will then meet in a
joint debriefing workshop on December 4, 2008, in parallel to
the EBAC'08 convention.
The workshop will be the occasion to
present the summary of the training courses and to share impressions
and good practices learned during the training experience with
other students and interested scientists. Participants can be
students, but also senior scientists willing to learn something
new, and the registration is open to both academic and industrial
participants.
More information on the offered courses in the SPS
website.
The program of the December 4 workshop will be announced in
October, once the courses will be already running.
